United Kingdom, March 18 -- Balfour Beatty announces that it officially started work on the £138 million North Hykeham Relief Road - following its appointment as Preferred Bidder by Lincolnshire County Council in 2022.The project will see Balfour Beatty construct a new dual carriageway linking the A46 Pennells Roundabout to the Lincoln Eastern Bypass as well as two new bridges at Station Road and over the River Witham.Since its appointment as Preferred Bidder, the company has worked closely and collaboratively with Lincolnshire County Council to progress the detailed design development, early works planning, site mobilisation and coordination of enabling activities to prepare the route for full construction.Once complete, the scheme wi...
