Applied Research Associates Awarded $13.5 Million for Novel Munitions and Energetics Development

United States, Sept. 18 -- Applied Research Associates Inc., Albuquerque, New Mexico, was awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for novel munitions and advanced energetics development. The amount of this action is $13,527,395 with a total cumulative face value of $37,744,768.One bid was solicited with one received. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico with an estimated completion date of Sept. 17, 2029.Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation, Army funds in the amount of $13,527,395 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Newark, New Jersey, is the contracting activity (W15QKN-26-C-A008).
