Fiji, Feb. 19 -- Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda and Pacific Islands Forum Secretary General Baron Waqa signed a historic Partnership Agreement to deepen collaboration and promote regional cooperation and integration across the Pacific. The agreement sets out a comprehensive framework for the two organizations to align their resources and expertise in support of a resilient, sustainable, and prosperous Pacific region. Both ADB and the Pacific Islands Forum bring over 50 years of engagement with Pacific island countries to this partnership.
