Peru, Sept. 4 -- The General Directorate of Environmental Affairs for Electricity (DGAAE) of Peru's Ministry of Energy and Mines has approved the Environmental Impact Assessments for the "ITC 220 kV Caclic-Jaen Norte Link" and "220 kV Ica-Poroma Link" projects, as well as their associated substations.Both projects cover construction, operation and maintenance over a 30-year concession period.The work on the Caclic-Jaen line will strengthen the electricity grids in the Amazonas and Cajamarca regions, particularly the Bagua-Jaen Electricity System, helping to ensure a more stable service that is better equipped to meet the future energy needs of the local population and economic activities.Construction work includes a new substation in Jaen N...
