Brazil, May 19 -- The Paraíba Water and Sewerage Company has awarded ACCIONA the contract for water and sewerage services in 85 municipalities in the Paraíba region, in northeastern Brazil.The contract, structured as a public-private partnership, provides for these services through 2039 for an estimated population of 1.7 million people, with an investment of €724 million.ACCIONA will operate and maintain the sanitary sewer system in the Abragencia area, covering the 37 municipalities of the Alto Piranhas microregion and the 48 municipalities of the coastal microregion.
