Germany, April 24 -- Siemens Mobility has handed over the last of the initially ordered 80 Vectron electric locomotives to Finnish railway company VR, completing the supply contract signed at the beginning of 2014. At the time of signing, the order was the largest single contract for the Vectron platform and marked the first deployment of the platform on Finland's broad gauge network. It also represented the largest rolling stock investment in VR Group's history at the time.
