India, Aug. 21 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed officials to strengthen links between industrial units and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), align courses with industry requirements and promote apprenticeships and on-the-job training to expand employment opportunities for skilled youth. Reviewing the action plan of the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Adityanath said regular employment fairs should be organised at every divisional headquarters, and skill development should be linked not only to domestic jobs but also to global employment opportunities.
