India, June 27 -- A 30-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead by her husband while she was cooking in their kitchen in south Delhi's Sangam Vihar area, with the accused absconding after the crime, police said on Friday.The incident took place around 4 pm on Thursday in the Tigri area. The accused has been identified as Shubham Rajput.According to police, Rajput allegedly fired four rounds at Kavita following an argument, killing her on the spot. Preliminary investigation suggests the couple had frequent disputes and the accused had allegedly been threatening her.
