India, July 1 -- A woman lost her life after being struck by a falling boulder near Aut in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district as continuous heavy rainfall triggered dangerous conditions across the region.

The victim, a resident of Nalagarh, was travelling with her family when they stopped near the Shani Temple after she felt unwell. As she stepped out of the vehicle, a large boulder rolled down the hillside and hit her, causing fatal injuries.

Police and district administration officials reached the spot soon after the incident. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination, and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
