West Bengal CM promises strict action after Murshidabad train crossing crash kills three
India, July 17 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has assured the public that the "strictest possible action" will be taken against those found responsible for the Murshidabad train accident that claimed three lives, including two school students.
The tragedy occurred when a passenger train collided with a pool car at an open level crossing near Karna Subarna railway station in Murshidabad district.
Expressing grief over the incident, the Chief Minister said negligence in duty would not be tolerated and directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to the injured and the families of those who lost their lives.
