India, May 14 -- The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) declared the Class 12 examination results for 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 91.23 per cent.

According to official data, girls outperformed boys in this year's Higher Secondary examinations. The pass percentage among girls stood at 92.47 per cent, while boys recorded 89.71 per cent.

A total of 64 students, including 56 boys and eight girls, secured positions in the top 10 merit list.

Adrito Pal of Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya emerged as the state topper by scoring 496 out of 500 marks.
