India, July 7 -- A chilling video capturing the moment a massive landslide struck near Meenakshi Bridge at Kalladi in Kerala's Wayanad district has surfaced, showing an eyewitness frantically warning people to "Run fast, friends" seconds before a huge mound of mud engulfed the road and bridge.

The landslide occurred on Tuesday amid heavy rainfall at the Anakkompoyil-Meppadi tunnel road project, which connects Kozhikode and Wayanad districts. The viral video, recorded from beyond the bridge, shows a massive accumulation of mud suddenly collapsing, uprooting trees and sweeping away barricades erected at the construction site.
