India, May 18 -- Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Padma Shri Prof (Dr) Mahesh Verma conducted a surprise inspection of Common Entrance Test (CET) centres on Sunday to review examination arrangements and ensure strict compliance with academic standards.

The inspections were carried out while entrance examinations for several postgraduate and undergraduate programmes were underway at different university centres, despite the day being a Government holiday. The tests held on Sunday included MSc Environment Management, Para-Medical programmes, MSc Applied Geoinformatics, Master in Public Health, MEd and BSc Environment Science.
