Uttar Pradesh cleans up recruitment
India, Sept. 11 -- The State of Uttar Pradesh has successfully implemented reforms in the recruitment process for filling vacancies in the Government. The case illustrates how governance can be transformed to become citizen-centric and efficient, with processes based on the principles of transparency and fairness.
Earlier, the recruitment process in the State was mired in controversies. The main recruiting agencies, like the UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) and UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), were accused of nepotism and corruption.
