India, July 8 -- The United States is reportedly preparing contingency plans for a significantly larger military response against Iran if attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz continue, acocrding to reports.

The report says Washington is considering targeting up to eight times more locations inside Iran than during its previous military operation. The proposed strikes would reportedly focus on military installations, missile launch sites, naval infrastructure, drone facilities and strategic command centres if Tehran or its allied groups continue to threaten international shipping.
