India, May 1 -- The Donald Trump administration has stated that the ongoing conflict involving the US and Iran has effectively ended due to the ceasefire that began in early April, arguing that the war is "terminated" ahead of the 60-day deadline under the War Powers Resolution. This interpretation would allow the White House to avoid seeking congressional approval for continued military engagement.
