India, May 22 -- The United States has indicated strong interest in deepening economic ties with India, with US Ambassador Sergio Gor hinting at a possible bilateral trade agreement and setting an ambitious target of achieving $500 billion in India-US trade by 2030.

The remarks came during an event organised by the American Chamber of Commerce, highlighting growing momentum in economic cooperation between the two nations.
