India, May 29 -- US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor underlined India's growing strategic importance for the United States, highlighting trusted cooperation in pharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, semiconductors and critical supply chains under the Pax Silica initiative.

Addressing the US-India TRUST Initiative event at IIT Delhi, Gor said the US administration views India as a key global partner in shaping future technologies and strengthening resilient supply chains. "The importance of India is now," he said while stressing the expanding partnership between the two democracies.
