India, June 30 -- US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor has shared an anecdote highlighting the close rapport between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recalling how Trump once wanted to call the Indian leader at 6 am, confident that Modi would already be awake.

Speaking at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) Leadership Summit, Gor recounted an incident from a UFC event in Miami earlier this year. According to him, Trump suddenly suggested calling Prime Minister Modi, despite it being early morning in India.
