India, Aug. 2 -- The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved the remaining seed capital of Rs 943.37 crore for the Ghaziabad Development Authority's Harnandipuram Scheme under the Chief Minister Urban Expansion/New City Promotion Scheme.

This funding, set for the 2026-27 financial year, will help with land acquisition and building infrastructure. The approval was made official in a Government order on July 31, 2026.

The Harnandipuram Scheme is a large residential township planned by the Ghaziabad Development Authority. It will cover about 501 hectares across eight villages: Mathurapur, Shamsher, Champat Nagar, Bhanera Khurd, Nagla Firoz Mohanpur, Bhovapur, Shahpur Nij Morta, and Morta.
