India, July 12 -- Delhi Police has arrested a 26-year-old Ugandan woman in the Mohan Garden area with 117 gm of amphetamine, a potent stimulant estimated to be worth Rs 70 lakh in the international market, officials said on Saturday.

Jackline Namulondo was allegedly supplying the synthetic drug to college students and youngsters in the national capital, they said.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided Jackline's rented accommodation in Mohan Garden on Thursday and recovered a commercial quantity of fine-grade amphetamine from her possession, the officials said.

An investigation is underway to identify the source of the seized substance, a police officer said.
