India, June 9 -- A felicitation ceremony was held at Udalguri Higher Secondary School on Friday to honour young recruits selected for the Indian Army under the Agnipath Scheme and recognize the efforts of the training teams that guided them through the recruitment process.

The event was organised by local civil society groups in collaboration with the civil administration and was attended by BTR Deputy Chief Executive Member Rihon Daimari as the chief guest. The ceremony highlighted the Indian Army's outreach efforts aimed at encouraging and preparing Bodo youth for a career in the armed forces.
