Two workers killed, two feared trapped after massive fire at Dakshin Energy Plant in Andhra Pradesh
India, June 23 -- A major fire broke out at the Dakshin Energy facility in Paravada, located in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalle district, on Tuesday morning, resulting in the deaths of two workers and leaving two others feared trapped inside the plant.
According to initial reports, the victims were caught in the blaze and suffered fatal burn injuries.
Emergency response teams, including firefighters and rescue personnel, rushed to the site and launched efforts to control the fire and search for those missing.
Authorities are continuing rescue operations while investigating the cause of the incident. Officials have not yet confirmed what triggered the fire, and a detailed inquiry is expected once the situation is brought under control.
