India, Aug. 31 -- Three women have been arrested for allegedly trafficking women and forcing them into prostitution at a brothel in Delhi's G B Road area, police said on Monday, August 31.

Two women were rescued in separate cases after approaching police and seeking help, they said.

In the first case, a 26-year-old married woman from West Bengal, who has three children, was reported missing on May 2. On August 25, she contacted her mother and told her that she was being confined at a brothel on G B Road.

"On August 26, the woman's mother approached the Women Police Post, following which a team reached the premises and rescued the victim," a senior police officer said.
