India, June 26 -- Two women in their 20s allegedly died by suicide in separate incidents in Delhi, with police registering cases against their husbands after family members accused them of harassment and cruelty.

In the first case, a 24-year-old woman was found dead inside her rented room in Khyala on June 24 after police received a PCR call regarding her death. Investigators who reached the spot found the woman hanging and seized a chunni allegedly used as the ligature material, along with other exhibits from the scene.
