India, Sept. 16 -- Two brothers belonging to the proscribed National Revolutionary Front Manipur (NRFM) have been arrested for their alleged involvement in separate firing incidents targeting CRPF and SSB personnel in Manipur, police said on Wednesday, September 16.

The two, identified as Sheleibam Tomtin Meitei, 27, and Sheleibam Jagatshyam Meitei, 35, were apprehended on Tuesday from Kongpal Kongkham in Imphal East district following specific intelligence inputs, according to police.
