India, Nov. 5 -- An Assistant Engineer and a junior Engineer was suspended by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi after the collapse of a three- story under construction building collapsed, leaving 2 people dead and injuring four others on Thursday (November 05).

The suspensions were acted upon, after the Deputy Commissioner of Delhi of the Old Delhi zone found apparent negligence of duties by the two officials. The officials, suspended with immediate effect, were identified as Assistant Engineer Mohd Naeem and Junior Engineer Aman Dalal.
