India, Aug. 28 -- Two people, including a nine-year-old girl, were killed and 24 others injured after a roadways bus collided with a dumper truck in Bulandshahr early Friday, police said.

The accident took place around 4.30 am near Shikarpur in the Khurja area when the bus, travelling from Delhi to Kanpur, rammed into the dumper moving ahead of it, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Abhishek Kumar Singh said.

The deceased were identified as nine-year-old Radhika, who was declared dead on arrival at the hospital, and 32-year-old Babli, who succumbed to injuries during treatment.

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, with some admitted to government facilities and others shifted to private hospitals. Four injured ...
