India, Oct. 25 -- US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could launch fresh military strikes against Iran as early as Sunday, October 25, while leaving open the possibility of reaching a diplomatic agreement with Tehran.

Speaking to reporters in Florida on Saturday after casting his ballot, Trump declined to confirm whether an attack was imminent. Asked about the possibility of military action, he said there was a chance Washington would strike Iran and an alternative possibility of reaching what he described as a major agreement.

"Maybe tomorrow," Trump said, adding that the United States could either take further military action or secure a deal with Iran.
