India, Oct. 12 -- The second day of the Cockroach Janta Party's protest in the city saw heavy traffic restrictions across Central Delhi on Sunday. According to a Delhi Traffic Police advisory, diversions took effect from 6 am, affecting traffic around Jantar Mantar, Connaught Place, Mandi House, Patel Chowk, and several other key intersections in Lutyens' Delhi.

The restrictions come amid a security clampdown after CJP and prominent student organisations, including the Students' Federation of India (SFI), announced that protests would continue until their demands were met.
