TMCs Abhishek Banerjee booked after woman alleges loss of leg following treatment at Sebaashray Camp
India, July 12 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Abhishek Banerjee and 10 others have been named in a police complaint filed by a woman who alleged that treatment received at a Sebaashray health camp ultimately led to the amputation of her left leg. The complaint was lodged at Rabindranagar Police Station in South 24 Parganas by Malati Biswas, who claimed her condition worsened after receiving medicines for knee pain at the camp before she was referred to government hospitals, where doctors later amputated her leg. Authorities have begun examining the allegations.
