India, Oct. 5 -- The pro-Mamata Trinamool Congress has trashed Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari's remarks accusing former Chief Minister Banerjee of faking a leg injury in the 2021 Assembly elections to draw public sympathy at the cost of the BJP to win the polls, which she managed to do successfully.

Calling the Chief Minister's remarks "tasteless, unfortunate and disinformative," senior TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh on Sunday said Adhikari should be ashamed of making such statements, lest it would "degrade his own impression in public."
