India, June 11 -- The Trinamool Congress (TMC) is facing increasing political turbulence after Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Chik Baraik resigned from the party. His departure has added to the growing signs of internal unrest within the ruling party in West Bengal.

Baraik, who represented the tribal community and was considered an important face for the party, expressed dissatisfaction with the current functioning of the organization.
