India, Aug. 5 -- Three workers were killed and two others were critically injured after a suspected chemical leak at a factory in Karnataka's Yadgir district early on Wednesday, Aug 5, police reported.

The incident occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. at a factory in the Kadechur-Badiala Industrial Area, where a suspected chemical leak caused workers on duty to suffocate, according to preliminary findings.

The deceased were identified as Vikram and Sanjay, both from Katni district in Madhya Pradesh, and Ganesh from Mahabubnagar district in Telangana. All three were migrant labourers.
