India, April 23 -- Electric vehicle pioneer Tesla Motors, which launched in the Indian market last year, on Wednesday launched their latest offering on the market, the long-wheelbase version of the Model Y.

The Model YL will be priced at Rs 61.99 lakh. The Model Y, which has been the world's best-selling car for three years continuously, was introduced as a long-wheelbase variant for the Chinese market last year.

The Model YL will be offered as a six-seater in India. It will feature all-wheel drive with dual motors and a certified range of 681 kilometres.
