India, May 23 -- A 28-year-old woman found dead in Telangana's Khammam district is now at the centre of a suspected murder investigation after her family alleged that she was killed for a Rs 1 crore insurance payout.

The deceased, identified as Guguloth Meenakshi, was found hanging at her residence on Friday. While the case was initially believed to be a suicide, suspicions grew after her relatives accused her husband, Shivaji, of murdering her to claim insurance money and clear mounting debts.
