India, Sept. 4 -- Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy urged Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the Sammakka Sagar Project. He also sought Chhattisgarh's cooperation to enable storage up to the barrage's full reservoir level and realise its intended irrigation benefits.

On Friday, the Minister met the Chattisgarh Chief Minister at New Delhi and discussed the issuing of NOC to Sammakka Sagar Project.
