India, Nov. 6 -- In order to make Telangana a leading investment destination in the automotive and electric vehicle (EV) sectors, the state government has formed an executive council to prepare an action plan to attract investments in these sectors. The council has been constituted as part of preparations for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026.

The council, chaired by Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, will comprise experts, leaders and representatives from the automotive industry, with around 25 industry members already expressing their willingness to join. The council's first meeting is scheduled for November 11 and will be held in hybrid mode.
