India, March 6 -- A host of Governors and LGs, including those of Bihar and Delhi, were given new assignments late Thursday evening following the resignation of Governor of West Bengal, CV Ananda Bose, days before Assembly election in the State. Bose resigned on Thursday evening without disclosing the grounds of his resignation. Ladakh LG Kavinder Gupta also resigned on Thursday and was later appointed as Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

Governors reshuffled While former Delhi LG Vinai Kumar Saxena was appointed as the LG of Ladakh. With these changes former Ambassador to United States Taranjit Singh Sandhu was appointed as the new LG of Delhi.
