India, May 27 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief C. Joseph Vijay is set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today during his maiden official visit to the national capital after assuming office earlier this month.

According to sources, Vijay is expected to leave Chennai by a morning flight and reach Delhi for a scheduled meeting with the Prime Minister at around 4:30 pm.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister is likely to submit a detailed memorandum highlighting Tamil Nadu's long-pending demands, including funding for welfare schemes, infrastructure development projects, and approvals for key initiatives.
