India, Aug. 4 -- Certain batches of disposable syringes supplied to the AllMS, Delhi, were recalled this year as a precautionary patient-safety measure following quality-related complaints, the Centre informed the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, August 4.

Minister of State for Health Prataprao Jadhav in a written reply said the affected batches had been manufactured by M/s Noble Pharmacare Limited and M/s Veekay Surgicals.

Responding to a question on whether the government had taken note of reports regarding the recall of certain batches of disposable syringes at AIIMS during 2026, Jadhav said the recall was initiated as a precautionary measure after user departments reported quality-related complaints.
