Suspicious vehicles outside Nepal media houses, opposition leader's residence sparks panic; Police probe Underway
India, July 13 -- Nepal Police has launched an investigation after several suspicious vehicles were found parked outside media organisations, a senior opposition leader's residence and a supermarket in Kathmandu, triggering concern among journalists and the public.
The vehicles were found outside the offices of Kantipur Publications, Onlinekhabar and Himalaya Television from around 7 am on Monday, disrupting movement and creating fear among media workers, according to the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).
Police removed the vehicles with the help of cranes and handed them over to the traffic department for further investigation. Later, similar vehicles were discovered outside the residence of Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa ...
