India, Aug. 19 -- The Supreme Court collegium on Tuesday approved the appointment of four advocates as judges of the Orissa High Court and recommended an advocate and a judicial officer for appointment as judges of the Gauhati High Court.

The collegium, headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, approved the appointment of advocates Sasmita Tripathy, Aditya Narayan Das, Rajjeet Roy and Gautam Misra as judges of the Orissa High Court.

The collegium also approved the appointment of advocate Nchumbemo Mozhui and judicial officer Helen Dawngliani as judges of the Gauhati High Court.
