India, Oct. 29 -- Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto on Wednesday reviewed preparations for the Assembly's Foundation Day Ceremony, scheduled for November 22, and decided that the event would be held in a simple manner this year in view of the recent demise of several personalities associated with the state's political sphere.

At a meeting with Assembly officials in his office, Mahto discussed preparations, the programme schedule and other arrangements for the ceremony. The proposed special session of the Assembly on November 25 and 26 was also taken into consideration while deciding the format of the Foundation Day celebrations.
