India, May 23 -- A speeding car allegedly rammed into an advocate in Hyderabad, Telangana, prompting police to launch an investigation into the incident, officials said on Friday.

According to police, the accident took place in a busy area of Hyderabad when the vehicle reportedly lost control and hit the advocate, leaving him injured. Locals immediately rushed to help the victim and informed the authorities.

The injured advocate was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable, police officials added.
