India, Oct. 25 -- In a bid to foster adventure, physical fitness, and leadership among the youth, the Spear Corps of the Indian Army conducted a Basic White Water Rafting Course for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at Aalo in West Siang district from 19 to 23 October.

A total of 20 cadets drawn from 51 BN NCC, 10 Assam BN NCC, and 63 Assam BN NCC under Group Headquarters Dibrugarh participated in the five-day training programme. The contingent was accompanied by a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO), and a Girls Cadet Instructor.
