India, Aug. 25 -- Six people were apprehended in Hyderabad for allegedly posing as qualified doctors despite lacking valid medical qualifications and treating patients without authorisation, police said on Tuesday, August 25.

Acting on credible information, police teams conducted searches at several locations in the Jubilee Hills Zone on Monday and detained the six accused.

According to police, the accused were running pharmacies and unregistered clinics without the required licences or registrations while falsely presenting themselves as medical practitioners.

They allegedly treated patients by administering IV fluids and injections and, in some cases, even performing surgical suturing, DCP (Task Force) Gaikwad Vaibhav Raghunath said ...
