India, Sept. 2 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met her Qatar counterpart Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, who appreciated India's strong and resilient growth performance amid ongoing global economic uncertainty.

Sitharaman met the Qatar Finance Minister on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting, in Asheville, on Monday.

"HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari appreciated India's strong and resilient growth performance amid ongoing global economic uncertainty," the Finance Ministry said in a post on X. Al Kuwari also invited Sitharaman to attend the 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of AIIB, to be held in Doha later this month.
