Sex Racket Busted in Arunachal Pradesh's Lower Dibang Valley, 4 Women Rescued
India, May 4 -- A sex racket was busted during a late-night police raid at a resort in Arunachal Pradesh's Lower Dibang Valley district, leading to the rescue of four women, officials said.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, a team from the Roing Police Station carried out a surprise operation at a resort in the Meka area on Sunday night. Four women, reportedly brought from Assam's Tinsukia region, were rescued during the raid, police confirmed.
According to officials, the resort owner, manager and several customers were taken into custody after being found allegedly involved in prostitution activities at the premises.
