India, July 2 -- Tamil Nadu's political landscape witnessed a major development as several former AIADMK ministers, ex-MLAs, and party cadres formally joined the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) at an event held in Mahabalipuram on Thursday.

The mass induction is being seen as a significant boost for the ruling party led by actor-turned-politician Vijay, as it continues to expand its organisational base across the state.
